Paul B. Vicente
LEAD PASTOR
Pastor Paul is a licensed (2012) and ordained (2015) minister with the Assemblies of God. He received his diploma in Biblical Studies & Ministry from Capital Bible College in Sacramento (2005).
On April 19th, 2026, he became the new pastor of Bethany Chapel. Prior to coming to Bethany, he served at Full Life Oxnard for seventeen years, first as an associate (2007-2012), then as lead pastor (2012-2024). He was also a youth pastor at Full Gospel AG in San Jose, Ca. (2005-2007).
Pastor Paul is married to Stephanie, a public high school teacher who is currently serving as the church worship pastor. Together, they have two children, Audrey and Joseph. He is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus with the hurting in our local community and reaching the next generation. Lastly, he desires to inspire believers to deepen their faith and grow closer to God.
Rebuilding Season
Bethany Chapel is in a rebuilding stage. We are prayerfully restructuring our Serve Team and are currently seeking, raising up, and adding leaders & volunteers as God enables.
All ministry departments are important! To rebuild effectively and prevent burnout, we are prioritizing only 4-5 ministries at a time (i.e., Prayer Night, Missions, Men, Women, and the NextGen). By God's grace, we strive to do them with excellence. As the number of leadership and volunteers increase, we plan to revitalize the next set of ministries in the coming seasons. Pastor Paul Vicente, alongside the pastoral, ministry, and administrative teams, are committed to spiritual growth and community service.
This website was recently launched on Sept. 14th to provide some basic information now. Please tune in as we include more pages and information about our church as they become available.
